Product Description
Master Bond EP30-1NV is a low viscosity, two part epoxy system for high performance bonding, coating, sealing, and potting. It has a forgiving four to one mix ratio by weight. It cures readily at room temperature or more rapidly at elevated temperatures. The optimal cure is overnight at room temperature followed by 2-3 hours at 150-180°F. This system is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents.
EP30-1NV bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, composites, glass, ceramics, as well as many plastics and rubber materials. It cures transparent
with very good light transmission from the visible to the near infrared spectrum. As a toughened epoxy, EP30-1NV can withstand thermal cycling and shock. It is a dependable electrical insulator. The service temperature range is -60°F to 250°F. These product properties allow the system to be used not only for bonding and sealing but also for potting. EP30-1NV is a viable candidate for applications where a toughened, optically clear adhesive or potting material is needed.
